Not sure if created, but heavily supported

Unintentionally created, but the US is very largely responsible for their existence.

It's no secret that they supplied the rebels in Syria with military weapons and ammunition. Many of those rebels went to ISIS.

Made in Israel

It's like the US gave some guys some guns in hopes they'd do the right thing. Then those guys went around and sound fuck em they suck anyways.
Then the US said fuck we'll give more guys guns to take care of those guys. Now we're waiting to see what they do with those guns.

No.

Of course those people became extremists because USA has been bombing their villages since 25 years ago, but I sincerely believe the role of their local power figures has been more influencial to their radicalization.
>>
Not intentionally, but of course, if you fuck their shit, they'll get angry and become terrorist.
I've just read an article about it, but it was in Spanish. I bet however someone can share a nice one in English, there should be plenty.
>>
>>55841193
Even if it's not a conspiricy, ISIS was created by the power vacume left in the region after removing Saddam and weakening the main radical groups in the area. If we remove ISIS without destroying radical Islamic ideology, then all we're doing is opening up another position of power for some other organization of bad guys to fill.

Not created necessarily. Armed by America? Certainly.
Some go as far as to implicate the CIA in coaching and leadership, but I can't substantiate that one myself.
>>
>>55841193
Not created, it was supported, same as all rebel groups(including Al Qaeda) when the civil war in syria started, now i really doubt they're still supporting them.
However, USA is not responsible for this madness, islam is, you need to picture the situation this way:

You have a violent monkey in some random jungle you want to conquer, you give him a knife, he starts killing more animals and people than before, are you directly responsible for it?, would the monkey be non violent if he didn't have the knife?. Answer is no, violent people are violent for many reasons, but owning a gun is not a reason.
>>
No, it was not created by USA. Destabilization in the mid east is a major contributing factor to the formation of ISIS, and the USA did play a role in that. USA also armed certain groups fighting Assad that later joined ISIS.

But ISIS has its roots in al-Qaeda. It's an extension of former jihadist groups and was most certainly not created by USA.

>>55841839

Sure, but it's US weapons that gave them tangible power and enabled them to carry out their extremist will.

Well it keeps happening and the US doesn't seem to care. I don't believe that the CIA doesn't is incompetent though and make mistakes like Al-Quade and ISIS. I believe they're calculated risks that ultimately serve US interests, even with unintended "blowback" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowback_(intelligence) ) considered.
>>
>>55842788
No the Islamic threat. Americans will be fine with especially if it creates jobs. There is no end to this on the American side unless an extreme pacifists is elected to President. Even then congress holds most of the power to actually declare war on anyone. So even if a hippie president were to try and stop it Congress can fight about it and carry on ultimately. Most times there is a division between extremes in branches of power. It would take an extremely tight and improbably window of time and circumstance to make the US tired of this. It might have come if this all hadn't of happened but that has been pushed into the future.
>>
No.

People that say the US created ISIS are muslims and Russians who want to blame America.

There is zero evidence to back up the claim the the US created ISIS. It's all maymay bullshit.

There was no Islamic threat while the strong, moderate Islamic leaders were keeping shit tight in their own countries, and making their own geopolitical moves, whether that meant allying with Russia or whomever. Then destabilization and Freedom® happened.

Americans need to stay entertained. Americans need the gubmint to tell them This Enemy Is Real And We're Under Threat!!!, otherwise they'd start questioning the ridiculous amounts of their tax money that is going to the industrial-military complex, to interventionist policy that don't benefit them in any way --- and of course, to our good and vulnerable friends in Israel!

Are you serious? Bin Laden was fucking shit before 9/11 and America ignored it. Bush used the 9/11 to jump on everyone and we were angry enough to let them do it. That was what created all of this. We weren't heavily invested in the Muslim region until that and we paid service to the Saudis for oil. It took a lot of shit but in a way we should have flattened the shit of the place regardless the whole time. The extreme Muslim world wants to spiral back to the dark ages and claim their superiority in their faith at this point.

You should read the post above yours - IS is a fringe terrorist group with little support from the majority of Muslims and it's success is largely the result of shitty US foreign policy.
To claim, as you seem to be doing here, that all Muslims should take responsibility for the terrorist acts perpetrated a group of fundamentalist nutjobs is pretty unreasonable imho.

Conspiracys are like people that go out camping and make up spooky stories because theyre board and then of course the children believe in it and go run into their tents and hide under their sleeping bags while their parents have sex behind their kid's tent, making noises, scaring the kid into thinking it's the boogyman from the camp fire story. >there are people on /pol/ so dumb they don't remember the USA arming the "Free Syrian Army" for the past few years to take out Assad

Daily reminder that the government now admits that their CIA-trained shills to fight Assad LITERALLY are just "three or four" people. So tens/hundreds of millions of dollars, weapons, training etc went towards 3 or 4 people? Please. It's an unavoidable fact that this whole shitstorm is our government's fault (and not just Obama - this goes back further than him).

Much of ISIS is also composed of the Iraqi army (also trained and armed by America) which immediately defected and joined ISIS when America left the country, which it should have been obvious they were going to do because America had just spent the last 10+ years wrecking their shit.

America literally created ISIS.

Here's a quick history of daesh
>"moderate rebels" and other mostly Sunnis rise up against the Syrian government
>the most radical groups, the Islamic Front and Al Nusra (along with others) pop up
>start absorbing smaller groups
>daesh pops up in Iraq, forming from sunni insurgents that have been around since forever
>Al Qaeda disassociates itself from daesh and puts it's backing behind Al Nusra
>daesh expands into Syria
>all he "moderate rebels/opposition" gets soaked up by the Islamist factions with the exception of a few groups who directly get funding from the US and her allies
>those groups are slowly absorbed or killed by daesh, Al Nusra, or other Islamists
>The only incorruptible opposition seems to be the Kurds in the north of both countries
>Turkey fucking hates them and bombs the "radical" elements in Syria
Also

Nothing in my post is tinfoil or conspiracy theory. This organization didn't just appear out of thin air.

I'm not saying that the CIA is actively directing their movements but there is no plausible scenario in which ISIS exists without the actions of America.

Wrong logic there. The weapons went to the FSA&co, when they were fighting as "democratic opposition to the goverment". They weren't officially Islamists at start, but circa 80% were supporting radical Islam. With more and more violence FSA fighters eventually joined the IS. Only a small number of the anti-Assad forces stayed "democratic", but certainly more than "3 or 4 people".

think of it as an omelette.

you have ingredients, a heat source and a pan.

you can change some ingredients and you still have a omelette at the end.

you can have different kinds of pans and still have a omelet at the end

you will always need heat source.

islam is the heat source, the US is the pan and the tribal conflicts are the ingredients.

the US was just the catalyst to this conflict.
