if you really think those states would go red you know nothing, it's fool's gold for the Republicans.

Michigan is so red at heart. Anything north of Grand Rapids is glorious. Only whites, Michigan Militia, everybody hunts or has shot a rifle at some point in their life and the winter keeps everyone the fuck away. Unfortunately we had the auto industry unions that absolutely wrecked our economy and 3 giant liberal havens in Ann Arbor, Lansing and GR.

And that was fucking Bush. The problem isn't that these states are Democrat, it's that the Republicans have put up shit candidate after shit candidate.

You're an idiot, Miami is full of blacks and that's going to cause the state to go blue. Virginia is going blue because of the blacks too.

Virginia and Florida have a chance, honestly, but PA and WI? It's always awesome watching Republicans getting their hopes up every 4 years for those states.

Pro tip conservative, when Nate Silver says a state has a 90+% of going Dem, it's GOING TO. Can't wait for all the Nate Silver denying next year.

Hillary won't be able to drive the turn-out for the Democrat's precious minority.

Also, I would not be surprised if people said they were voting for Hillary and went for Trump at the ballot box

Why are the smartest states Democrat and the dumbest Republican?
>>
>>55815765
Voting against your own interests is not what the blacks or latino's will do. even whites.
>>
>>55815623
Latinos are the reason why so many more states now vote Democrat. That's why it's awesome watching all these conservatives go nuts for Trump, literally the worst candidate ever for Latinos. Even if he doesn't win the nomination, the Republicans have already fucked themselves by letting him get this much attention and allowing him to carry their label.
>>
>>55815854
you don't understand. *voting* goes against what blacks believe

its too early, we don't know who three of the 4 people are on the tickets (lets face it, Sanders isn't going to pull an Obama over Hillary, she is securing the dem ticket this time) and the specific candidates can turn key states. In particular, that Bush and Rubio are potential candidates could be the turning point for Florida. VP choices could possibly flip OH, PA, or VA.

To the black community, there's a difference between voting for a black man that supports your views and a white man that supports your views. There's more of a reason for them to go out and vote for a black guy.

>>
>>55817895
Could you imagine if he had won? The liberal tears would have flooded inner cities around the country.
>>
Since only rednecks are ignorant, I'd be impressed if any Republican wins a non southern state against Hillary.

No gay is gonna vote Republican. 99% of blacks and just about every immigrant wont vote for them. The college educated middle class isn't voting for them. The poor wont vote for them. The Republicans really only have the 1% and "hurr-durr took mer jerrrrrbbbb" poor whites.

Prepare your penises for your female overlady.
>>

>implying Trump's immigration and economic development policies aren't in Black's interests

But hell, I'm make a prediction based on, say, Hillary Clinton and Berdie Sanders as the dem ticket and Jeb Bush and Nikki Haley as the repub ticket.

(I strongly suspect it'll be Bush/Haley, and Clinton at the top of the dem ticket, but I really have no idea for Hillary's VP choice. Sanders is an easy play for this prediction being from VT which is going blue anyways).

Swing states of note:

NV - 6% to obama last time, it'll stay blue
CO - 5% obama last time, will go more blue
IA - 5% obama, will likely stay blue
WI - blue since 1984, its not much of a swing state
NH - like WI, not much of a "swinger", staying blue
NC - its heading blue but its staying red in1 2016, esp with Haley next door
VA - honestly i think the govt shutdowns was the permanent tipping point for VA going and staying blue.
FL - the only real swing state in the country, its so close. probably red with Bush.
OH - another close one, but it'll prob stay blue
>>
>>55818789
Bush is doing awful, though. More likely Rubio or Cruz this time around.
>>
>>55818789
>>55817115
Same thing I have
>>
>>55818789
Bush has no chance the nominee will likely be

50% Trump
30% Rubio
20% Cruz
>>
>>55814703

PA isn't going red outside of landslide conditions that would make PA's outcome immaterial anyways.

VA and FL are very much at-play states. I'm baffled that anyone would think FL especially wasn't up for grabs.
>>
>>55819141
Trump is gonna fall eventually. GOP knows he isn't suitable for office and it would be a democrat landslide if he was nominated.
>>
>>55818789
>>55818041
If Trump isn't the nominee and therefore Democrats win because Trump is the only viable Republican candidate, I'm going to give up on voting and continue stockpiling weapons. Come and take them Democrats, I dare you. You can have the bullets first.
>>
>>55818789
>>55819339
FL will be red under Rubio. Our Cubans are already somewhat conservative and nominating Rubio would only push them further right.
>>
>>55819464

>>

This would make sense if it was still the summer but he is building up momentum and the GOP are warming up to him
>>
>>55815765
>said they were voting for Hillary and went for Trump at the ballot box
This is actually quite possible. Here in the UK we have the "shy Tory" effect, where since voting for the Tories gets you shamed and harrassed a lot of the time since they're seen as the 'aristocratic' party, especially if you're a student, poor, or minority, a lot of them will claim to not be voting or to vote something else, so the Tories get constantly lower polls than the actual results show.

All their harassment of Trump supporters is quite likely to lead to something similar.
>>
>>55819677
But there's no way he'd be able to win the general election. Too much anti-Trump hive mind on the left and among moderates.
>>
>>55820069
Yeah we get it, telling people that supporting an actual candidate is a bad idea and they should go with mild diarrhea in a dixie cup like McCain and Romney so we can lose again is in your best interest. Kill yourself.

>paradigm shift

Using that term as a fancy replacement for "asspull" doesn't make it any less imaginary.

>>55815623
There were rumors that the Obama camp deliberately leaked "internal polls" claiming that PA was much more in play than it seemed. McCain got that info and actually did a campaign shift the last week, pushing money into PA.

Which went to Obama by 11 points.

PA is for repubs what invading russia in the winter is for europe.

>>55818960

McCain was performing for crap in 2008 until the other candidates slowly picked each other off, while McCain had enough ground game to hold on while the more-popular yet poorly-run campaigns just sputtered out. Nobody wanted Romney on the ticket in 2008 but he had the staying power.

My gut instinct is that the behind-the-scenes republican power brokers have decided that Jeb is their man this time around, and polls a year simply don't matter when the poorly funded candidates who are polling better right now stop dropping out from lack of money. No betting the farm on it but its a prediction thread, its what I'm running with.
>>
>>55818041

The only people who are still Democrats are evangelical-tier. Nothing anyone will ever do will be good enough for them. Once again you're trying to sneak in the message that being different is impossible and if you want to win Republicans need to be Democrat-lite.

That's all Democrats want, Republicans to run as Democrat-lite. That way they are really still getting what they want and subtly shifting the GOP leftward so all we're left with is Left and Lefterer.

Once again, kill yourself. I know how you scum think and operate.

Both of your parties have been polarised as fuck recently, democrats have gone mad left on social stuff, the republicans have been taken over by religious nuts socially.

Much like they're still trying to fight gay marriage. And once they can replace the left leaning justices Obama put in, you can bet your ass they'll have the SC re-evaluate the ruling.
