Why would a liberal and progressive people willingly let in a group of people who want to take away all womens rights, kill homosexuals, and believe adultery is punishable by death. There are millions of foreigners (many of them muslim) already in Germany, being German citizens that are legally able to vote.
Yet they don't vote. Less than 50% of people vote in most elections (in the local ones the numbers are even lower).
Especially in the lower castes of society (to which foreigners mostly belong) participation in elections if very low.
