I'm also an ex muslim and was born and raised in a muslim family. I did my research questioned my religion and got interested by science. It didn't took me long to reject this barbaric religion and to understand what islam is. When I explained this to my parents, they were yelling non-sense and didn't accept it. As for most muslims, they reject the facts. We live in a sad world.
