It is the west's fault to a certain extent, more specifically the Jews that control banks and profit bigtime off of the war economy. However, I think it's arguable as to how much the west actually instigates. Sure we destabilized the Middle East by ousting their leaders and encouraging protests, but these were groups of backwards countries still operating under laws from the Middle Ages, where women aren't allowed to drive and get an education and where stealing your neighbor's sheep is punished with having your limbs removed.
They are a group of savage nations and while the west is disgusting for profiting off of their barbarism, they were going to do these horrific things to one another anyway.
