>High minimum wage

Try these factors instead:
>Large landmass with a widely spread out population
>Significant import costs, exacerbated by distance
>Significant input costs, not just minimum wage but the following - high wage expectations as a result of the mining boom for various professional roles, cost of overheads (transportation and admin are huge costs in Aus), capital required for starting projects.
>Air con.

>move out of the city

My parents just sold their house (30min train ride to CBD) for just over 1million.

You need to move REALLY fucking far out if you want affording housing...have fun traveling 3-4 hours per day back and forth to work..or just get a really great job

A lot of government regulation
Its harder to start up a business so less competition and so higher prices
Labour unions have strong ties with government
Government schools run by government union teachers instill socialist ideals and a strong sense entitlement
Leads to excessive labour conditions and high minimum wage
Much more cheaper to import overseas trained workers/professionals

High minimum wage.

Okay welfare if you're a student. Just enough to afford a small car, enough noodles for the week, rent and text books.

Tax is actually fairly moderate, current governmnet is scraping a lot of tarrifs currently.

If you choose a rural city to live in, you can pick a brand new 4 bedroom house between 400-500K.

It's really not bad. I lived on my own without welfare working 20 hours a week at a supermarket and studying full-time.
>>
>>55793529
Because it's not?
If you don't have a job then you are literally given enough money to pay for food and a place to live.
This is assuming you are fine with living in a shithole and only spending $20 a week on food, which you should be if you don't have a job.

Do you think drilling for water in the desert is feasible? I think if I was born into a desert island penal colony and had an internet connection with a few days to ponder life, my life plan would quickly be get off the desert island penal colony or die trying. Certainly not spending anytime shjitposting on an Amerilard image board.
