1. What kind of rhetoric can withstand the pseudo-liberal political correctness of our times and successfully open conversation on the expansion of Islam in Europe and the detriments of unmoderated multiculturalism?

2.What case could now be made for the assimilation of muslim masses in the European populus? How could it be optimized, if possible?

3. What tradition and national spirit strengthening policy is feasible?

Most of politically correct islamophobia in western world is about bashing secular leaders "tyrants" to give space to islamists financed by gulf monarchies.
I think it's a waste of time.

Wasn't Cato the younger the famous Cato? What did the elder even do?

Logically, most rhetoric can.
The problem with these people is that they have no problem screaming over you, no matter how much sense you make.
It's about volume, not about being right or wrong.

Greeks posting about Cato the elder... Something tells me you never read his views on your people.

The only effective counter to Islam would be a faith based one but Western Christianity has been gutted by generations of undermining by special interest media interests. Curiously Orthodox Christianity is still in fine fettle but it appears to be growing an understanding with Islam.

Cato the Elder (Latin: Cato Major; 234 BC – 149 BC), born Marcus Porcius Cato[n 1] and also known as Cato the Censor (Cato Censorius), Cato the Wise (Cato Sapiens), and Cato the Ancient (Cato Priscus), was a Roman senator and historian known for his conservatism and opposition to Hellenization.[1] He was the first to write history in Latin.

I find his opposition to Hellenization fitting to current events. His position was correct in principle perhaps and Greeks would have done the same at the time.

1) Ideologies and rhetorics themself don't work anymore. People know what is available to choose from. They will just choose what is the most advantegeous for them NOW. It pays NOW to look "good" to your neighbours, the internet, etc. without it costing you anything (you just say you value every culture equal and you sound like a paragon of virtue).

The only things that can change this are (a) a HUGE amount of propaganda and (b) cold hard events like what happened in Paris, but multiple need to happen in succesive order. This will change the mass people's opinion very quickly.

2) Westerners need to be proud again of their heritage and stop with this "every culture is equal". Romans highly valued their own principles and traditions as SUPERIOR and called everyone else a barbarian. Westerners dont even dare to say the West is superior to anything.

Because Romans we're so proud of their own traditions, they shamed every other culture. This made new Romans very eager to adept their ways to at least a degree which would open them to all the advantages of the Roman World. In short: laugh about immigrant culture, dont take them serious until they changed into true, decent Western people and reward them. Very simple after all. Humans are very receptive to reward/punishment systems, like dogs and other animals.

3) Christianity is not compatible with the above (slave morality, accepts everything). It is better to use the shared Greek/Roman rhetoric to unite people together with the Renaissance period of Glory of Europe. The latter are examples of "master morality". They mold the new immigrants, instead of the immigrants molding society (of course in this sense a society will always change a bit, th question is who is in control of the molding).
