I don't understand the minimum wage argument.
7 an hour is insanely low, at the very least it should be going up with inflation.
If all those minimum wage plebs have more money it helps the economy in the long run. An increase is long overdue.
Why is it that people refuse to believe climate change is real?
>>55782414
Nobody thinks climate change isn't real. They think it's a natural cycle that occurs regardless of whether or not I drive a Prius or an F-150
For starters I suppose I am a State Capitalist (Chinese Socialist) but I also support Assad and Russia.
However, this whole thing about minimum wages kills jobs sort of is a bit over rated.
See. In economics jobs are sticky. If you run a McDonalds you have to have so many workers to operate. You can have a minimum of workers but you cannot run less simply because the business will not function.
Chances are if the workers are paid more they will work harder anyways so you need less workers.
Anyways the real issue is that people are working minimum wage because no middle class jobs are available. That can be resolved through state capitalism. You know its how Hitler turned around the German economy in the 1930's and its what China does to acheive 7% growth year after year despite having a large percentage of its economy run by state owned corporations.
But I doubt the left will latch onto the idea.
We have an age based minimum wage here.
You can pay kids under 17 at a lower rate, and it gradually increases until they are ~25

>reframing socialism as State Capitalism
Dohoho!
>>55782702
careful, don't tell Americans about successful policy changes we've had in the past (See: John Howard PM).
It triggers the fuck out of them, and they start yelling about things not be infringed or some shit.
>>55782831
Well technically State Capitalism = National Socialism economic policy, but I tend to not use National Socialism because it offends you. There is a big difference between European Socialism and Chinese State Capitalism.
For one the ECB has a mandate that forbids them from assisting individual companies while China doesn't give a fuck and will prop up anyone deemed important to the competitiveness against foreign competitors.
>>55782350
If it's so low, why do people offer to work for less?

>successful

I used to browse Reddit regularly. I now see why you guys hate them.
>>55783244
I browsed Leddit for a short period a couple of years ago, I didn't enjoy my stay.
I would constantly get downvoted to oblivion if I disagreed with people.
>>55782268
So want to post an argument about why they are wrong instead of acting like a faggot?

>that image
You CAN have both... but ONLY if wall is built to stop the flood of illegals accepting under-the-table pay.

I just lurked and got frustrated with their shitty comment structure.
