I think Stringer is one of the best actors working right now. Bond is a dead series now anyways. Quantum was sub par and Skyfall was garbage. I am not going to go see the new Craig Bond nor will i go see the Elba Bond. 007 was great while it lasted but it ended with Casino Royale.

Craig is contracted for at least one more film after Spectre, potentially two. They won't be looking for a new actor for Bond for another four or five years at least and Elba is only like three or four years younger than Craig as it is. Elba will be nearly 50 by the time the casting call goes out, five years older than the oldest Bond (Roger Moore) when he started.
They're going to want a younger actor - someone who'll be in their mid-thirties and can actually stick around for a decade or so's worth of films.

Idris Elba was a great Heimdall, and he's a good actor.
