How much longer do they have?
I live in San Diego id say... tomorrow why the fuck not

I had to research this a shitload about 10 years ago.
Basically even if the fault went full on apocalypse, there is absolutely no way it would fall quickly. The fastest possible rate it would dip into the ocean is just over 100 years. But even that kind of event is one-in-a-million.
It is infinitely more likely it will just fucking sit there for another 3 million years and then begin to slowly shuck off into its own coastline. Another 1-2 million after that, it will then dip below the surface of the water, killing the isolated life that continued to develop there. Strangely, the islands which you already see existing off the coast of LA and San Diego would likely survive, as would a small chain of them by Big Sur which would develope from the dip.

Iirc there is a 95% chance of a 7.0 in downtown LA in the next 30 years and an 80% chance of an 8.0+ in the same area, with slightly less chances for the San Fran area.
whatever it takes for you Yellowstone fearing faggots to sleep at night...
