I am a native Texan and was looking to migrate to Montana once I graduate.
Maine is where I'd go if I were to move to New England, but Vermont is 2nd for me and definitely the most gun friendly state in the nation apart from Alaska.
A common misconception is that Texas has a lot of gun freedom and while that is mostly true, it isn't nearly as so as Vermont. It's also hot as fuck and filled with Cholos and Basketball Americans in the East.
