Their beef is not with America so much as it is with modern civilisation and enlightenment ideals.

Islam is like that old, used up beater car you first got in highschool.
It started out okay. Ran alright. Maybe had a little trouble starting on the coldest mornings in December. But damn it, it worked well enough despite it's exterior problems.
But the longer you had it, the more problems would keep popping up. At first the problems were easy to fix.
The battery needed to be replaced. The tires were worn down. An air filter needed to be replaced. Easy stuff.
Eventually, the problems became more complex. More difficult or costly to repair. The fuel pump went bad. The starter crapped out. Your muffler fell off while driving 65 down the highway.
At some point, the engine block cracks and you decide to finally junk the thing in favor of something better.
Islam is the beater car, and the engine block just cracked.
Now we can spend a fucking fortune to pay someone to take the engine out, do a complete disassemble, repair the crack, and put it all back together and hope nothing else goes wrong for the next six months. . .Or we can sell it for salvage and get a new car.
