ISIS are Muslims (oddly enough, they're strangely heretical, but that's another thread altogether) just as Crusades were led by Christians.
The difference is that the overwhelming majority of Christians recognize that the crusaders were in it for glory, power, or wealth rather than a genuine devotion to god, and they behaved like un-Christian savages, regardless. Literally nobody except a very tiny fringe of edgy kids and double-digit-IQ retards say otherwise.
The problem is that Muslims need to own up to the fact that there are SOME fanatical retards that need to be dealt with. Actually, ISIS believes what they are doing will lead to the apocalypse. They believe it will happen, but instead of God choosing when the end of the world will be, they are deciding when it happens. In case you were wondering, that's pretty much against even the most religious Muslims. Mere men compelling God to do their bidding? Big no-no in Islamic jurisprudence.
