Using a simple color change on a photo is a lazy way of showing solidarity and feeling like one has contributed to society and the greater good in the easiest way possible to satisfy our inherent urge and need to that our little monkey brains tell us to do. It's natural selection. These people found an easier way to get rid of that pesky desire to do good with the least amount of effort possible.

10/10. Spot on, on a very serious issue (in my mind at least.) My favorite example: If I we're to get cancer in the future, the last thing I would want to do is draw any attention to myself.
