First of all we were not immigrants we were conquerors, we make the fucking rules. Our country was founded on the principals of freedom, among other western values, instilled in our forefathers and industrialized on the backs of european immigrants. Immigrants that deserve the right to live here that do come here don't call themselves Mexicans, or identify themselves by other identities contrary to the proud label of a real American.

The immigrants I've met who fit this category have active conversations on the state of the US, on the election and politics here that most born citizens have no opinion or a copy pasted script they never thought critically over or cared to reform to their own personal views.
These people are the ones with the US flag in their front yard, that they take down in times of storms and lower in times of tragedy. They hate illegal immigrants, very much so because of the troubles they have caused to them coming to the land they prized over and the disrespect they have for the nation they feel indebted to. Many protests here in the borderland against illegals, including a push that made the Federal state take back buses of illegals who where going to be given citizenship, where led and supported by legal immigrants and they're children.
These immigrants are the ones with strong individuality separating themselves from their homeland, with beliefs in freedom and a nation based off succeeding those who don't apply themselves and earning a better life than those that rather live comfortably instead of living with a vision of self made success.
These people are usually attracted to business, science and engineering, and hard working practical positions of benefit that will assure them a career. Thats why many are conservative fiscally, and oppose programs rewarding self made victims of poverty that they where usually once in until they decided 'fuck this' and worked to arrive here legally and with a plan of self efficiency.
Well look how well it turned out for the native Americans when they let white people in.
