Is the War on Terror an impossible battle?
How can you declare war on a concept? Even after over a decade of constant bombings and raids more and more terror groups are emerging from some other Middle Eastern country
Since Western countries cannot defend themselves from the influx of immigrants coming through (Thanks Merkel), more and more groups will be bred in Europe for future attacks. And just saying that one specific group is behind most of these attacks will get instant backlash from the PC police

"War on terror" is a euphemism.

When we stop calling it the "war on terrorism" and call it what it should be, "the war on Islam". It becomes hard to handle a problem when your scope it too broad, so narrow the scope on the ones causing the most problems, and after dealing with them, see how bad the terrorism problem is after that and reapeat.

The West is too caught up in its own hubris of tolerance to realise that these people do not see the world as we do. They see the strong and they see the weak, and they see it as the strong's right to assert themselves on the weak. It's why they don't want our way of life for their societies, they see that it makes you weak. Their dictators recognized this and knew how to handle them.
You cannot force people into " enlightened" views, they have to get there themselves in their own time, just like the West did.

Ironically the war on terror is only creating more terrorists, same with the war on drugs. The only sure way to get rid of the war on terror is through empathy and purpose. The majority of terrorists, criminals, drug users, and psychopaths do what they do because they have no other purpose in life. Life is shitty where they are from, they only see death and despair on a regular basis and monkey see monkey do type of attitude. One of the ways is to teach everyone, and I mean everyone skills to better the earth through natural means. How about we teach every person to farm herbs, fruits and vegetables the old ways. How about we let children decide which field they want to work on, and not limit them to only one we should encourage multiple skills, in terms of building a future. Possible study in eco friendly fossil fuels and space materials. Building hemp buildings and concrete, focusing on flying cars and economical means of travel. We should constantly farm and acquire eco-materials; allowing everyone in the world to build anything they desire with no harm to nature. The war on terror, is that just a war, the solution should be called 'The alternative to terror'.

I guess when they say War on Terror, they really mean war on poverty. War on lack of education. War on religious fanaticism and more broadly religion in general. War on agressive shit-stirrers with crap troglogyte genes. War on feminism as we know it and more broadly on any discriminating movement under guise of human-rights activism. When we win all those wars and many others I forgot to list is when we can say there'll be no terrorism with any confidence at all. And even then the possibility would remain. But thing is we're not even close to starting all those wars, so the current war on terror is simply a scam/marketing campaign/pacifier for the masses.

"Terrorists" fight for a variety of reasons. This is the danger in just saying "war on terror" with no focus. Anyone can be branded a terrorists when it suits someone and the effort will never be focused enough, (can't profile these people, that's intolerance). It's a word with an empty meaning at this point.
Focus on what is driving this one group, the Islamists, and handle it accordingly. These people are welcomed into richer lands that shelter them from their harsh countries and literally give them free housing, free food, free jobs, they give them everything everyone else works for and gives it at the expense of their own people. They are given more opportunities than they had, but they still rape, rob, murder, and scheme against their hosts, and demand more. These people are here for a purpose and it's not to enrich our societies.
It's the same shit that it was over a thousand years ago, but we're too "tolerant" to think that or think like that. But they're not, and ignoring that fact is the weakness they see and exploit, and it will bring us down.
We declared war on Nazis.
Killed a few million of them, now they are still around here and there but they're not in charge of a country.

According to our justice department, people here already are considered terror threats because they believe in the legal document that is the basis of our nation. This is the danger in declaring war on a subjective, open-ended concept. White people with right-wing views are profiled as threats, but we can't profile that poor, oppressed Muslim! The war on terror is inefficient and open to abuse.
