Its a prelude to either war or a slow degredation of our birth rights. Either way each of us is likely considering what will happen next and hoping that we will see our own people come back from the brink.

9/11 was the first of its kind. It invited humor in order to deal with the massive shock of it all.
This is not the first, nor will it be the last, and that's a notion that's becoming clearer and clearer after every attack. It's easy to make jokes when you feel comfortable tragedy won't befall you. It's hard when that comfort is slowly being taken away.
