It's a simple and effective plan for the short run, but eventually someone down the line will be upset at some parts of Islam, break away from that part of Islam and start their own sect. Oh wait, that already happened, and guess what? They hate each other and actively kill each other.
We've seen this happen with Christianity and Judaism as well.
Abandoning religion is the only option, and I don't mean taking up Atheism. People should speculate about supreme beings, but because there is no evidence to prove or disprove, there is no logical way someone can believe. Religious agnosticism is the answer.
