>common core is thought control.
Common Core is goy control. The kikes who wrote it wrote it to "help" niggers and harm Whites who can't afford to go to private schools like their own children.

What exactly is common core and why is it bad?
Giving everyone the same basic education seems like a good idea.

>What exactly is common core and why is it bad?
I used to shit on common core all the time because of the memes and because I thought it was bad. Then I looked it up and I have mixed feelings.
All the addition stuff you see where CC makes it more "complicated" is just shitposting and memes. The specifications are that children should learn by tens, aka
54 + 27 = ?
Split into
(50 + 4) + (20 +7) =
(50 + 20) + (4 + 7) =
70 + 11 = 81
as opposed to
. 54
+27
------
81
I mean, this is how I understand addition anyway, it's really intuitive and a great way to learn it. I think the problem is that people don't really know how to teach it that well because it's "new", and if you've been a teacher for like 20 years switching from your old system to a new one is probably annoying, but they'll get over it.
As for the rest of the common core, I haven't done enough research, but at the very least it's definitely not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. But personally I think the math improvements are better.
