>liberal arts majors are dumbasses whose only admirable skill is bullshitting
>STEM majors are actually intelligent people who think analytically

This is why America is swirling down a toilet full of shit.

If you are majoring in any of the following, you are a retard and helping to destroy this country:
English
Womyn's/nigger studies
Political science
Psychology/sociology
Philosophy
Arts

The only way to save America is to restrict voting to college educated STEM degree holders.

Political Science is what most pilots major in during college. Its easy to get a high GPA, and pilot slots are competitive so GPA is important, the average is 3.6 so picking the right easy major is important. No major in particular is required because what the fuck is going to teach you how to fly, so there's an incentive to pick easy shit.

Besides that for most other careers STEM and technical degrees are very valuable.

The STEM vs. liberal arts debate is mostly stirred up by liberal arts majors to allow themselves to feel indignant. You really don't hear actual STEM majors going out of their way to diss nonSTEM majors, they're too busy doing their schoolwork/research/whatever and they know that their work is worthwhile. Liberal arts folks are so damn defensive because they have a secret inferiority complex.

>STEM majors are actually intelligent people who think analytically

STEM majors like stupid pop culture and tend to not know how radically culture has been destroyed. At least someone who studies liberal arts can come to an understanding of what the Jews have done to the western world. STEM majors only accept what is in front of them.

In an ideal world, it wouldn't be either/or - you would understand that art, literature, rhetoric, drama, are all cultural engineering - and they're more important than being able to design a skyscraper.

I wouldn't be a white nationalist if I hadn't have spent so much time studying the art and literature of old dead white men.
>>
>>55659616
Well in that case there's plenty of places to learn how to fly without getting a degree. Hell my grandma got her pilots license when she was 70 and there's one of those simulator places just around the corner from me that helps people earn the hours they need and practice for their tests.

Liberal arts IS highly overrated and but not entirely unnecessary... well perhaps excluding bullshit like Women's studies which really is a useless agenda pushing major.

English, pol sci, and psych do have real world applications but the market is over-saturated and full of idiots who want to do an "easy" major in college.

Art and music serve to define our culture but again they are over-saturated markets and most of the people who major in them are basically talentless. Good musicians, artists, and actors tend to be naturally talented. Everyone else will just be mediocre at best.

By the way I'm electrical engineering. And you know what, I'm kind of happy everyone is doing liberal arts. It means less competition for me for jobs and I'm totally okay with that.

I can outperform 90% of STEM majors in science and physics. I studied calc and aced my physics, calculus, physiology, biology, chemistry, and diffeq classes.

I majored in English.

STEM majors just accept what is put before them, they can never understand what has been done to the culture of the west in the past 50 years. Culturally, rhetorically, and philosophically they're like stupid moths that just follow the light - unable to see outside the box they've been put in by a Jewish Capitalist and Jewish Communist elite.

Your average STEM major will see nothing wrong with average pop-culture shit - they will like Seinfeld and watching South Park - they will never understand what has been robbed from them by the cultural marxists.

No, the best way to get good at writing is by writing a lot. The best way to get great at writing is by writing what you know after you've completed step one.

I humbly disagree with your viewpoint. There has to be a lot of effort put in there but knowing what's already been written, the various literary conventions and traditions is very important if you want to be a good writer.

As much as I dislike the various self-identifying Marxist profs I've had to deal with, I think it's important to ready what the intellectuals of the day have to say and their methods of research. In my experience those that say that college is useless and you need to self-motivate instead often only read wikipedia articles and call it a day.

English is fine, but expect to stack shelves and don't complain if you are doing so. The trick is normally in the marketing of it.
Art is pointless and [same as above]
I'd be willing to accept psychology to a degree, though it is one of those fields which is bordering onto science but doesn't meet enough of its standards yet to be taken wholly seriously. The best prospect for Psychology is for Evolutionary Psychology to merge with the fledgling field of Neuroscience. With this combined understanding they could actually start doing science, and with this would be able to gain the knowledge of ourselves, which would be worthwhile nearly as much as an understanding of physics.
Philosophy is important... though never really as a degree. Its one of those things which most humans should consider and invest into and investigate. But [Copy and Paste English+Art]
Sociology / Women's Studies / The Ethnicity bullshit are all the same base entity, and honestly I'd shove the latter 2 as a sub category of Sociology. The only good which has ever come out of it is longitudinal studies. This isn't because it is a redeemable field, but the method used is credible rather than the field. I looked into it a bit, and honestly for anyone who is curious look up Weber. This is the most based guy who contributed to the field and some of his shit still holds up. A basic summary is that everyone has a certain amount of social power granted to them by a variety of things, and it is this which determines what they can do, ie Realpolitik on an individual level. A lot of the rest eventually ends up being outright conspiratorial or shill's certain elements of society rather than Weber's realpolitik-esq explanation.

But how is critical thinking a bad thing? You learn to evaluate arguments. If anything I find that STEMfags are just as bad, if not worse, for latching on to mainstream liberalism as any other of the artstards.

I think that an education in mathematics, physics, philosophy, history, and literature would make for a pretty well-rounded citizen. Of course, he would specialize in whatever he is best suited for.

>Art is pointless and [same as above]

What an ignorant understanding you have of the world...

"The foundation of empire is art and science. Remove them or degrade them, and the empire is no more. Empire follows art and not vice versa as Englishmen suppose." - William Blake

Part 2:
Politics is not a science and I say this as someone who studied it. I studied Foreign Relations and OH BOY, I ran as far away as I could from Feminism and that bullshit. Also I ran from "Comparative Politics" as well which tries SO SO SO hard to be a science. When an American Professor said political science I literally took up the term with her in the lecture hall and in essence defended science from association with Politics due to non-overlapping standards of method of ability to test. Politics is not a science by any extent and is rather an Art, literally an Art. I mainly focused on diplomacy and the history surrounding said events. It has a use to inform the individual with information which they can then use for themselves ie a job in a certain field. But expect to go hungry same with English art and philosophy.
To what Warfare once was, Politics is now and as our understanding and scale develops of humanity then maybe Politics will be where Warfare is now. Since the 1st World War Warfare pretty much became a science in area's with the correct methods being implemented from top to bottom through brutal testing and seeing when the fewest died. When Sun Tzu was around Warfare was an ill understood art in which a couple of individuals more or less just gave it a go and eye balled it. All that Diplomacy is, if anyone believes otherwise is the most intelligent(hopefully) people from a nation or entity eyeballing how they should act towards others, for their entities/their own gain. Within are a subset of tactics tricks, deception and endless mind games employed to get what they want, ie lie lie lie lie and lie some more without actually telling a lie.

It's a uniquely American thing to finish an Arts/Social sciences/Humanities degree and then go work at Starbucks while complaining. I don't disagree, but philosophy is specifically useful for discerning good and bad arguments. It's useful for articulating yourself. So, when coupled with something like rhetoric, it can be useful. But I'll admit, a lot of it is useless. I guess the frame of mind it can produce might be good.

But I disagree about school preparing you for jobs. That's certainly an aspect. But education should not only prepare you for your right line of work, but also how to be a good citizen.

It doesn't build bridges, nor does it end wars... though it has started conflict.
Art is life's fluff. You can live without purchasing it from others in stead of other things in which case most people can make their own, ie story telling with friends being the most simple.

Of course I'm not the best musician, but you don't need to be to be successful. Even when these people practice alot, they fail to realize that all they are going to amount to is being a session musician and maybe playing in a dad rock band on the weekends. What's worse is they ALL get egos and become uber pretentious thinking they are hot shit because they know all their scales and can play a few melodies over pre arranged chords or because they took an online course at Berkley.

Depends on level and what else you have. I did an Honours year in political science but I got my public service job with my economics degree. However I do think that doing the Honours year helped swing me the job over the other applicants because I demonstrated that I can research and write 18000 words and they haven't. That is a tricky skill to learn.

However not all apples are the same. My political science year was actually useful. While some were basically "my feelings on Julia Gillard's political career as a feminist" mine was hard statistical analysis of voting patterns backed up by political theory. The statistical analysis is especially impressive to employers.

In short, not all liberal arts are identical, and how useful it is depends on what you do in it. If you want to fuck around doing film studies, of course it's useless, but don't judge all liberal arts by that measure.

Because STEM students understand that they're just robots who are created to do menial tasks and then are forgotten for eternity, while artists are unique and their legacy can last through centuries. We can only have one Dante, one Beethoven, one Mozart, one Virgilio, one James Joyce, one Homer, one Shakespeare. People copy them, but they can't reach their heights, and in many cases create their own individual style that can give them a chance in eternity. Every artist, every musician, every writer has their own signature, unique and difficult to reproduce.

The STEMfags, on the other hand, are like robots. If one of them dies, another one can take the project and develop it further as if nothing happened, like if he were a robot on an assembly line. Nothing individual is required of them, and most of them must learn by rote a whole ton of info in order to make to get a job that is easily replaceable because hordes with the same knowledge and skills are waiting for it. No creativity, no innovation, no style, just rinse and repeat. STEMfags of course are useful, but their function is that of a high quality janitor, that is, to make sure everyone else is healthy and has everything needed for a good life and to clean every leakage happening in society.

Think about it. An average person doesn't give a flying fuck about who makes computers, builds houses, who heals them; but ask them about their favourite artists, and the majority would give almost encyclopedic knowledge of culture. Say to women that you're an artists and you'll be drowning in pussy and passion, while STEMfags get only the gold diggers who will eventually call them boring and ride the artfags on weekends. And who makes more money? Some engineer in a tech company or a successful musician?
Tl;dr: STEMfags are butthurt that artfags get all the pussy, true love, recognition, an exciting life, and an opportunity to be remembered forever, while the only thing they have going for them is money.

Anything from 45-70+ depending on what's available. My full time position doesn't pay amazingly by itself (55k last year), I could live off way less than that and be comfortable.

The real money comes from private language schools, universities, and tutoring. At the language schools I'm a 'casual' so I get paid penalty rates which can get ridiculous (50+ an hour).

I learned so much during my education, I really don't understand how some countries can justify employing people with 0 qualifications.

My students typically end their first year already having developed advanced conversation skills and only need more guidance for things like "what's this obscure word in English?" or academic level English.

>liberal arts majors are dumbasses whose only admirable skill is bullshitting

"The Prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel dined with me, and I asked them how they dared so roundly to assert that God spake to them; and whether they did not think at the time, that they would be misunderstood, & so be the cause of imposition.
"Isaiah answer'd. 'I saw no God, nor heard any, in a finite organical perception; but my senses discover'd the infinite in every thing, and as I was then perswaded, & remain confirm'd, that the voice of honest indignation is the voice of God, I cared not for consequences but wrote.'
Then I asked: 'does a firm perswasion that a thing is so, make it so?'
He replied: 'All poets believe that it does, & in ages of imagination this firm perswasion removed mountains; but many are not capable of a firm perswasion of any thing.'
Then Ezekiel said. 'The philosophy of the east taught the first principles of human perception: some nations held one principle for the origin & some another; we of Israel taught that the Poetic Genius (as you now call it) was the first principle and all the others merely derivative, which was the cause of our despising the Priests & Philosophers of other countries, and prophecying that all Gods would at last be proved to originate in ours & to be the tributaries of the Poetic Genius; it was this that our great poet King David desired so fervently & invokes so pathetic'ly, saying by this he conquers enemies & governs kingdoms; and we so loved our God. that we cursed in his name all the deities of surrounding nations, and asserted that they had rebelled; from these opinions the vulgar came to think that all nations would at last be subject to the jews.'
"'This' said he, 'like all firm perswasions, is come to pass; for all nations believe the jews' code and worship the jews' god, and what greater subjection can be?'" - William Blake

"The ancient Poets animated all sensible objects with Gods or Geniuses, calling them by the names and adorning them with the properties of woods, rivers, mountains, lakes, cities, nations, and whatever their enlarged & numerous senses could percieve.
"And particularly they studied the genius of each city & country, placing it under its mental deity;
"Till a system was formed, which some took advantage of & enslav'd the vulgar by attempting to realize or abstract the mental deities from their objects: thus began Priesthood;

Nope, America is having a huge hard-on for STEM.

The reason why humanities (especially in Murrica) are mostly shit nowadays is because you guys have a huge hard-on for STEM.
Humanities used to be a field of excellency, just like STEM (without the T). If you never had a whoreship for code monkeys, humanities would hardened up and not let many people in. Maybe you should close most of your bullshit universities and maybe retards should accept the fact that university is not made for everybody.
Humanities used to be red pilled as fuck, promoting white culture in general but also trying to understand other cultures instead of crying "muh racism" or "muh sexism". If you're crying over the death of white culture, maybe you should try to preserve, and in order to do so you might need to know about your arts, your languages, and History.

Also
>code monkeys
>intelligent

Nope, the only respectable fields in STEM are mostly S and M (inb4 SM) , especially mathematics, and some of the E.
Most of the T are retarded code monkeys or some bullshit degree not far off.

>still thinking there are many people still studying science
