There's always the possibility of a false flag.
The news stories said that 2 of the gunmen are unaccounted for. Its not so easy to escape like that, and Muslim terrorists rarely plan an escape like that.
Just like 9/11- its suspicious that the identities of the gunmen aren't made clear and the bodies will probably be made unidentifiable from the suicide vests. On 9/11 no one really took credit for the attack right away, and many people thought Osama taking credit was a hoax, I think there will be confusion as to who takes credit for this attack.
Taking hostages and then killing them right away didn't make sense either, hostages are usually there for a demand- and the terrorists made no demands.
Reddit - /r/conspiracy, mind, the front page is chock full of outpourings of sympathy for the French - says that this is to distract from TTIP, that France was going to drop out of the agreement.
I haven't been paying attention to the trade deals so I dunno if this is accurate.
