Life under the Jews would be preferable, but Islamic rule would have a better long term outcome. Jews are an ethnicity, and they avoid mixing, so they won't just go away. On the other hand, Islam is a religion and not an ethnicity. Once Islam achieved world domination, the imams or whatever would grow corrupt, the foundations of the faith would degenerate, and so on, eventually ending up like Christianity has. So while it would suck for a century or five, it would eventually fade away.
