I've been saying this from the beginning. There is a portion of the base that love these kinds of antics but there is equally a portion that fucking hates it. Just think about these numbers and then apply it to general election with centrists and independents. Trump would lose and he would lose hard. He would however encourage high voter turn out because he would charge a large portion of the population to get out to vote in fear of him standing a chance.
