"Colored people" is a ridiculous descriptor for blacks.
Black is the absence of all color in the visible spectrum. When you see something that is black, that is because it absorbs all visible color.
White is the presence of all color in the visible spectrum. When you see something that is white, that is because it reflects all visible color.
Sure, you could make the case that blacks are somehow in possession of more color due to absorption, but it's not visible color.
Descriptions of individuals by skin color should be based on what we can actually see.

You're confusing light-based color with pigmentation-based color.
Humans are blackbodies, yes, but we radiate in the infrared spectrum, not visible to the human eye.
The color of someones skin as you see it is caused by melanin, which acts as a pigmentation. Pigmentation is subtractive, as opposed to light, which is additive.
This means that, the more pigment you have, the darker you are, so in terms of pigment, darker colors (especially black) is the presence of all color, while white is the absence.
And, of course, black people are not literally black, they're brown. It's just a term used to refer to them.

I was on Yik Yak at the time a bunch of students were spamming "Cant Flim Flam the Zim Zam" and "#hangchimpsfromthecolumns" i didn't think anything of it at the time, but some fucking retard posted the "Don't come to school tomorrow thing" and everyone took it as serious, trying to calm down everyone was literally impossible cause they'd just down vote everything that wast "OMG IM SO FUCKING SCARED RIGHT NOW GUYZ" it was literally a mob mentality for like three straight hours, then everyone just took it as fact....
