Disregarding that about 50% of them aren't even from Syria, yes, it's ok to help anyone in this planet as long as we can afford it. In the case of Syrian refugees the thing to do is to create temporary refugee camps in the neighbouring countries surrounding Syria, monitored by the UN and defended by the Blue Helmets and an international peace-keeping force. They will receive international well organized aid, food, medicines, the kids will receive scholarship, etc. and when the war ends they can go back to rebuild their country.
Beyond this, there is no justifiable reason to insist on permanently integrating them into our genepool and society, unless your aim is to eradicate native Europeans.

Im not even talking about syrians, Im talking about latinos from the drug corridor coming over the mexican border of the US. I dont recall the exact numbers but I think the number of Syrian refugees the US takes in every year is only a few thousand.
The entire geopolitical reality about the "immigration" problem is that the US intentionally disrupts central and south american governments with drug war/economic & government interventions which ensure US institutions access to their markets and resources, this in turn creates a huge flow of refugees up through central america and mexico, which ends up here in the US, which ends up being exploited as cheap labor by US employers. Neither the US employers using immigrant labor nor the US interests exploiting the destabilization of latin america are at all interested in the immigration problem being solved, because it suits them just fucking fine, so nothing will be solved, because the US government is in the pocket of US business interests in general.
