The whole reason for the rise of sjws is the civil rights movement, the sjw movement is a continuation of that event, in reality, it should have never happened. Even Malcolm X wanted his own nation, rather than an integrated one.

IMO the modern Social Justice Warrior movement is more directly linked to Feminism than the Civil Right's movement which was about racial justice.
MLK and Malcom X made their arguments based on logic and reason, and in MLKs case appeals to scripture. People realized they were right because they made sense.
I know people here like to hate on blacks but truth be told if MLK was alive he probably wouldn't like much of black culture. It could be argued that the Jew, if you like that line of reasoning, has encouraged the baser desires of blacks rather than higher desires.
Modern SJW is def more feminism though. It's all about the idea that feminism is methodology for examining ideas. It relies on lots of clever word play and mental gymnastics.
Feminism treated the relations between men and women as a systematic and intentional denial of rights to women. Thus, in order to be free, women must systematically and intentionally rebel against this. Women must stop behaving like traditional women. The argument being that traditional women only have those values because they were brainwashed to be subservient slaves.
It works in part by redefining the meaning of words. It's a way of looking at the world. It's trying to make women more powerful by taking away power from men. TO them it's a zero sum game. Same with racism. To them you can only empower blacks by disempowering whites.
It's about changing the definition of racism from disliking or hating based on color of skin. To systematically oppressing another race based on your race's position of power. Hence the argument that blacks cant be racist etc.
It is somewhat a continuation of civil rights 60s but IMO modern SJwism is much more linked to feminism than Racial Justice.
