I've mostly spent my days in my room just reading, or trying to teach myself a new language. Sometimes I go out on the Saturday with a few friends and meet new people. I never really enjoy any of their company but I stay polite.
Sometimes I find a vidya that takes up all my time and I spend about 1-2 months without any contact with anyone expect my mom when she comes over to tea in the morning. When that happens I find that it takes about a week or so for me to start being able to talk to people again.
I really can't wait till the end of this month so I can start working again.

I'm a 23 year old straight white dude who is cautiously optimistic about the future but overall really happy. I've enjoyed a generally pretty full life of romantic and sexual relationships with a bunch of women, and I've been consistently able to pursue all of my hobbies and career ambitions. I don't really feel like I've "checked out" of society or like I especially need to. I mean yeah, sometimes society can be disillusioning, especially when the internet is your primary window into it.
