How did the English legal system get so bad? It seems like it's every day that you hear about some laughable English law-related matter.

Not sure. It seems to work alright. We have Magna Carta and Habeus Corpus. Also our Common Law provides a basis for the Law in many countries. Including yours. The US legal system is based upon English law.

Want to get a trial by jury? English common law is flawed, but better than getting fucking shot by some fucking dictator.
