Not sure. It seems to work alright. We have Magna Carta and Habeus Corpus. Also our Common Law provides a basis for the Law in many countries. Including yours. The US legal system is based upon English law.
Want to see a lawyer if you get arrested?
Want to get a trial by jury? English common law is flawed, but better than getting fucking shot by some fucking dictator.
