We want a more fair country with less exploitation by the rich. Say hi to the next president of the United States, President Sanders.
>>
>>55511476
How are the rich exploiting you?
>>
>>55511141
I'll give you a burger to take him.
>>
>>55511543
By taking the majority of the money earned by Americans and keeping it for themselves. By not sharing the wealth. By keeping wages lower than they should be for the majority. America needs a much stronger middle class. How much do you enjoy being exploited.
>>
>>55511612
>How much do you enjoy being exploited.
I'm not being exploited. I work for an employer that pays me well. I don't know why anyone would stay at a job where they felt they were earning less than they deserved.

I need the government to stop me from conducting voluntary agreements.

Because most people don't get to choose! And what do you define as being paid well?
>>
>>55511707
>Because most people don't get to choose!
How so? Everyone has the opportunity to hone a craft, work hard in school, and actually make something of themselves. Being lazy and having no ambition is a choice.

>And what do you define as being paid well?
I'm paid low 6 figures.

I never thought I should say this, but now I actually hope he wins.

By selling mutual funds with shitty derivatives that you can't bank your house on, by lobbying away the regulations on public safety like Texas's shitty law that makes it illegal to criticize steak and meat, by keeping a 30% tax rate on everyone who is scraping to get by but allow loop holes for the "job creators" and their personal finance. It is one thing to give companies hand in success but the rich people themselves are benefiting ridiculously. Doctors and lawyers are worth peanuts in monetary value compared to Kochs and such.
I often hear "they earned it" which should follow with "by asking the governent for the biggest handouts in history."

Volantary agreement

>by lobbying away the regulations on public safety
Government holds the power here, not the rich.

>by keeping a 30% tax rate on everyone who is scraping to get by but allow loop holes for the "job creators"
Government holds the power here, not the rich.

Your blame is misplaced friend.

Don't look at it from the perspective of an individual; look at it from the perspective of the whole society. There is a finite number of good paying jobs. And a finite but much larger number of poorly paid jobs. The majority of people are forced into the latter. Some people are lucky enough to get the former. Your salary is easily in the top 10 percent of salaries. What we all need to advocate for are the salaries of those in the 90 through to 10 percent range. These are the people who need political advocacy and assistance.

Free markets are what allow societies to flourish. You're advocating the removal of that freedom, which will lead to stagnation for the society, especially those without homogeneous demographics.
>>
>>55512267
Free markets tend towards monopolies and exploitation. Witness the US right now and the unevenness of wealth distribution. More humane capitalist democracies allow the middle class to flourish better. Norway is a good example.

Norway is a white country with a lot of oil. Provide an example where your socialistic ideals work in a country where there is not a homogeneous population.
>>
>>55512520
Australia, which is where I'm from. The wealthy are less wealthy; there is less poverty; there is decent healthcare and education for all; and the middle class lives quite comfortably. It's certainly not a homogeneous country. Unfortunately, it's not nearly as wealthy as the US or Norway, and is coming off the end of a long minerals boom, so the current economic situation is exaggerated.
>>
>>55512614
Australia is about 90% white, 7% Asian, and 3% other. It's not a very fair comparison with the US at 62% white.

Also, no small tit porn.
>>
>>55512833
haha.
And Australia is pretty diverse in the European mix -- lots of people with Greek and Italian backgrounds, and they've historically been seen as quite different from the Anglo-derived Australians. Also, lots of people identify as immigrants and have a language other than English as their first language or else they speak the other language at home. This is a good demographic breakdown by Australia's leading demographics scholar: http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/[email protected]/0/49F609C83CF34D69CA2569DE0025C182?Open

And Australia is getting more diverse but is also trying to build a strong middle class. This could become the key issue of the next US federal election: Clinton is advocating for the middle class and Trump is advocating for less taxes for the rich but little change in living for the bottom half of the population (in wealth).
>>
>>55511963
But Sanders has said everyone's taxes would go up to pay for his "free shit." He wants to lower the potential for every American, which would stifle innovation and growth and lead to another recession. The Nordic countries and The Netherlands didn't see an increase in GDP until they started abandoning socialism.

>voluntarily chose to be lied to with AAA rating derivatives that were caught on tape to be shit by Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Poors.
You have some fucked up logic right there
>rich manipulting government into crony capitalism
>government's fault
It partly is but the interest groups still hold the pants in this oligarchy. If you need more proof you can see Citizens United: legalized bribery. Look at Marco Rubio's 5k vacation. Look at Scott Walker's crony tactics. Look at how many white collar criminals got arrested in 2008.
