None of this is true, except for the railroads. The periods during which the Irish and Italians had trouble integrating was literally less than one generation. The asian population was tiny until recently; immigration from Asia was banned altogether at multiple points in history.
Saying that blacks powered the industrial revolution is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen on this board. Not only were they unrelated to that, but blacks didn't power the economy in any way. Slavery was an extremely inefficient economic system where the growth of the labor pool was limited to the human gestation period, growing linearly in contrast to the exponential growth of the Northern factories where European labor came from across the world to beat on the door for work. If slavery had powered the economy, then the South would not have been so utterly dwarfed by the North when it came to wealth and development. The only people enriched by slavery were the tiny aristocratic class who just invested the money into more plantations, further swelling their own pockets.
