I haven't had a flu shot since I was a kid. Whether you get one or not you still can get the flue, even though with one the chances are very minimal, but without one the flu doesn't have to strengthen itself to work through your temporarily artificial enhanced immunity to it. I can't remember the last time I had the flu but If I am to get it eventually I'd rather be infected with a weaker version of it
