Dogs tend to be tools in their cultures. They herd, they hunt, they defend the household, but they're not members of the family. They don't infantilize dogs and treat them like innocent puppies, as we tend to do in the west.

Gotta be frank that there's a lot of whites that don't like dogs either - I'm one of them. I'm not some sort of virulently anti-dog person but big dogs make me very nervous and they always pick up on that. I would never own a dog as a pet but am not out on some sort of anti-dog crusade.

My next door neighbor has some annoying pugs but the guy across the street has a husky and a beagle and they are fucking bros who never bark unless some shitty breeds piss on their trees. He loves to play with my neighbors' poodle, Aussie, Heeler, my hunting ranch's two Great Pyrenees, and my other duck hunting roommates' labs. You can gauge the culture of a race by how they treat dogs.
When I served in Iraq we'd have literally packs of dogs that would hang around the FOB because the soldiers were the only ones that were nice to them. We took in some of the friendlier dogs and kept them inside the wire to keep up morale.
We were the only FOB in the area that wasn't getting attacked by sappers trying to sneak in the base at night because the 15 dogs living just outside the wire would bark and case away any non white person that approached it.
It was pretty cool when we went on patrol. The base dogs would follow our convoys. The locals didn't fuck with the dogs because they thought if they shoot one we'd kill them (we probably would too).

Same dog there its toy on a trampoline but couldn't jump up to get it. After about 5 mins of trying to get to the toy it got under the trampoline and tried to get the toy. Then it learned hitting the toy with its snout made the toy bounce. It them bounced the toy from the center to the edge and off to the ground.
