>>55486811
Competitive.
>>55486811
Maybe we'll find out someday

manufacturing would come back home.

Think you can work for less than some starving peasant from India or Mexico?
No, of course not.
Abolishing the minimum wage will do nothing to solve America's unemployment problem and it most definitely won't do anything to increase wages.
>>55488740
But wouldn't it make it cheaper for a well paid person like myself to hire help?
>>55486895
>>55486848
a competitive race to the bottom maybe

You'd be able to get a job easily, but would require and education to get any good pay. Immigrants would go back to their countries in order to live better lives there. Prices would likely come down.
I'm not even sure. The easiest job in america (wallmart greeter) pays more than minimum wage but you don't see tons of competition over who gets to work at wallmart. People would probably just be happy with whatever they could make as long as they can afford housing and food.

>wallmart
you're embarrassing me.

wages would plummet, but land owners wouldnt lower rent, nor would utilities drop in price either. the entire lower class and a good portion of the middle class would be homeless in 1 to 3 years.
If trump wins we will find out soon enough. Also, how the fuck is the strapless side of her blouse not falling down? She doesn't have cleavage to hold it up!
An America with no minimum wage and a lower tax rate would turn us into a massive behemoth even more so than we already are.
If pure GDP growth is your goal, this and lowering environmental regulations, along with import tariffs to increase domestic employment even more-so, will do it.
If quality of life is what your goal is, a welfare system for those unemployed, higher minimum wage for those employed, and no or low tariffs will do it.

Should clarify I mean corporate tax rate.
wealth inequality would increase.
we have one of the highest minimum wages in the world and our wealth inequality is much more under control. the average person actually has money
