/pol/, should degeneracy be made illegal? If so, what types?
I think it's important to distinguish between degenerate things that should be tolerated but not condoned, and things that should be actively prohibited. Prohibiting everything just leads to widespread disobedience and hurts public morale. The public perception that laws can be disobeyed with impunity is frequently a consequence of making laws that cannot be easily enforced, such as bans on guns or drugs.
Instead of legally proscribing degenerate activities, one can instead create a cultural environment in which they are so socially unacceptable that people will abstain or be private about their misdeeds. Kind of like the way Russia has banned homosexual propaganda but not actual homosexuality.
I have divided some commonly discussed issues into categories as I see fit. Feel free to agree, disagree, or comment.

Degeneracy should be made illegal if it drags down the progress of the whole nation or the community. Degeneracy where land-whales and workless bums collect checks from the government because they "can't work"/won't find a job.
Some degeneracy should be allowed if it is scientifically or socially acceptable, such as drinking (to a degree), smoking and prostitution are such examples.
However, i disagree that Islam, usury, and the subversive movements should be illegal, as they are often the root of bigger political movements. black rights movements were seen just like the subversive movements before they were integrated into the U.S.'s laws.
Also, recovering degenerates such as junkies should be accepted and reformed to be inserted back into the workforce, along with the uneducated and the criminals. They can prove to be a helpful push of manual labor and speed up the economic cycles by increasing the average low-class income.
