Not sure about destroying society but definitely dilutes one's self in a way that is probably more dismantling than we're led on to believe.
Gaming is a waste of time, really, and turns one into the ultimate consumer. What are you doing when wasting hours on end beating a game...absolutely nothing. No skills acquired, no knowledge gained, exercise, brain building, and otherwise productive time making $ or enhancing your self is utterly lost. And, especailly if you aren't gaming with people it is a highly solitude endeavor..makes me feel more lonely than I already am.

However, we have gone so far down the path of Marxist subversion that the government needs to actualize itself as The Will of Reason. Politics don't happen in some ideological vacuum and there will have to be coercive action against this government to set things Right. The bastions of Education, Politics, Media, and Business would be where I'd set my sights.
