I've been giving some thought to starting a local handyman-type business (lawn-mowing, gardening, car/house cleaning, etc.) where the kicker is basically "We only employ young people with little or no experience, and we arm them with the experience and tools they'll need to enter the workplace and succeed later in life", but I haven't looked into how much capital I'd need to get it set up, and I don't want to take out a loan on something that seems so hit-and-miss.
