Trump has been consistent trough and out.
Is he dropping at the moment in preparation for a push closer to the actual nomination?

Trump is the new meme.
It's fucking ADORABLE. No matter what he says, /pol/ will flip flop and follow him. It's a hivemind over here.

Good. I'm a liberal but I hate Hillary and in general am getting fed up with the gender politics on the left. But Carson and Trump are fucking idiots. It'd be nice if the GOP could get a half-decent candidate nominated, either Rand or maybe someone like Rubio or even Cruz. Hell, I don't like Fiorina but imagine the butthurt if she gets the first female president title instead of Hillary.

Yes, we need more of a split. The founding fathers wanted us to be a country split down the middle. America is most prosperous when it's needless bickering is slowing down progress.
You're going to see more and more democrats until the Republican party gets it's shit together. No one these days wants to be a hardcore conservative with inconsistent beliefs.

Only short-term, and not in any way that matters. Republicans have pretty much the whole country locked down except for the Presidency, which is why Dems are all of a sudden so comfortable with expanding Presidential powers.
The Republican brand works in gubernatorial elections, congressional elections, and a shitload of local elections. Their big problem is national, and even if the Democrats manage hold it, historically, "locked up forever" only lasts 20 years at the most before something changes.

He Stumped himself with that TPP support, Trump is right, China is backdooring the deal. Apparently Randlet didn't read the latest from John Kerry that China is joining the TPP.
I prefer rand over trump, however I don't think he could win the general election. but then again, it will be against hillary, an old short fat woman, so he actually does have a good chance.

Beaners aren't the only uninformed voters. If you care that beaners are going to vote democrat for superficial reasons, then you should care that a majority of Americans are doing the same thing. Obama didn't win because of his charm alone, his race and appeal with certain communities had a lot to do with it.
I'm a beaner. I don't want illegals, and I know that beaners are so ungodly stupid when it comes to voting. I can't talk about Trump with any of them without them showing how little they know about the issues, and yet how firm they stand against what they don't know. There are Americans who are the same way, though.

Which explains blacks, but Hispanics have the potential to be better citizens. Illegal immigrants send over $50 billion to their families back home every year. I don't want them here, but I understand their motivations, and people who break their backs to provide for their families sound pretty conservative to me.
Do you really expect someone to say, "My father came to this country, lived in a ghetto, sacrificed his life working 60 hours a week landscaping so that his children could be safe and have opportunity to thrive, and that's why I'm supporting Bernie Sanders."

>Q: Does a "pathway to citizenship" mean amnesty in your book?
PAUL: I think that that's the whole point: What is amnesty? Because, [for those who say] "no deportation and no amnesty," well, if you're not going to deport people you are somehow changing the current law because the current law says everybody must go.
>Q: But you've said that the party should give up this word "amnesty"?
PAUL: I think we need to get beyond it. We need some form of immigration reform.

http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Rand_Paul_Immigration.htm
some interesting quotes here
>Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky is endorsing a pathway to citizenship for the nation's 11 million illegal immigrants. In a speech, the potential 2016 presidential candidate declares, "If you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you."
Paul's path to citizenship would come with conditions that could make it long and difficult for illegal immigrants. Chief among these, Congress would have to agree first that progress was being made on border security.
Paul's speech is peppered with Spanish phrases from his youth in Texas, references to his immigrant grandparents and praise for Latino culture. He says his party must adopt a new face toward Hispanics and says conservatives must be part of it. "Immigration reform will not occur until conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation," Paul says. "Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport" the millions already here, he says.
>>55442839
making it easier to legally migrate =/= amnesty

>Paul's path to citizenship would come with conditions that could make it long and difficult for illegal immigrants
not any harder and longer than the current system, it can take up to a decade for a mexican to get in
>>55442558
But regardless, Democrat lockdown on national elections is based on the idea that minority groups vote Democrat, and women mostly vote Democrat.
What they're doing works now, but the idea that they can keep pulling out the War on Women every election season for decades is silly. Republicans play identity politics less than Democrats, and Hispanic voters rank jobs and the economy far above immigration in terms of importance. Bush won 40% of the Hispanic vote in 2004, and the Democrats veered hard into identity politics for 2008, cutting that down to Romney winning 27% in 2012.
Demographics are only troubling if you assume that Democrats can keep playing the racist card.

>not any harder and longer than the current system, it can take up to a decade for a mexican to get in
