I've found in my professional life that people pay very little attention to where you went to school. All they care about is did you get a degree and is the school accredited. I am in a physical resource management career (fisheries).

Well I study Odontology at Karolinska in Sweden which is apparently the best in the world when it comes to odontology. If that counts, will probably whitch to another school though, too many niggity nogs here for me (I'm from Finland).

STEM master race only uni is best uni
>>
>>55440615
How do you people who go around shouting "stem master race" define STEM?
Is Medicine STEM in yoyur eyes? It does incorporate some parts of STEM such as science and technology but you cant really say it's 100% STEM.
If you consider it STEM, how about dentistry? It's lots of medicine but not really to the same degree. We do hovewer share lots of courses with med-students especially during the first couple of years then we branch of.

Where do you draw the line? Pretty much all degrees incorporate some parts of STEM.
>>
>>55441095
Medicine is applied biology with a focus on humans and practical techniques.
Nothing in this description is not STEM.

>What isn't STEM?
History, literature, philosophy, music
>>
>>55441095
In this case I mean it more as a classification of the university itself, the fact that it doesn't offer liberal arts or humanity subjects, only the truly useful subjects such as STEM and medicine

>doing a STEM degree

Why go into something being so over-saturated by the thousands of new Doctors, Scientists and Engineers we are getting from Syria, Pakistan, Somalia and Afghanistan daily?
>>
>>55441390
Who are you quoting on this?
>>
i love how idiots are proud of kike institutions that would throw their application to the trash just for having the wrong name
>>
>>55441390
Because you've gone to one of the top institutions in your country and outrank 90% of the rest of the graduates in your area, thus making a job trivial to get.

Provided you don't fuck up an interview, you outrank everyone else on paper

Pretty much got promised a job my second year. In scandinavia Medicine and dentistry means you'll be hired the second you're done with your degree. Pretty much everyone gets poached years before they are done.
>>55441291
Alright, we have the same opinion,

Fair enough

Where is number 10?
>>
>>55441772
Number 9/10 is shared.
It would be weird to have a top 25-list with 26 schools or however many there are in this list.
>>
>>55436715
Nope I didn't even finish. Could have gone to UCL but I didn't want to go to London.

Farming now.
>>
>>55436715
why are you posting the old one?
>>
>>55441616
Not necessarily true, I graduated from University of Toronto. My work hired more grads from McMaster, another less known university
>>
>mfw graduated from top half of that list
>mfw make enough to be in the U.S. 1%

I was accepted into UCSD and was going to use the fact that my parents were living in California, while I lived in Washington, to get in state tuition. They moved to Ohio though in February of that year disqualifying me. Since I didn't want to pay CA's ridiculous out of state cost I ended up going to Ohio State.

American universities are SJW nests shouting muh priviledge. Once the bullshit hit research, they will fall, all of them.
