Well without welfare my mum couldn't have raised me and my two siblings after my father died, we lived in housing commission for 11years while my mum raised us and went to uni full time to earn a teaching degree.
My dad died from cancer after being exposed to asbestos which was used in his steel manufacturing job, he lost his job due to outsourcing to overseas countries and died not long after leaving us penniless and without an income.
That is why I feel strongly for those things.
