I take solace in knowing people who've lived here their entire lives can see through this bullshit and obvious race baiting. Columbia was an amazing town full of intelligent people before the university went corrupt and starting farming out rich students from Chicago and Texas.
What used to be a fairly middle-of-the-road libertarian town full of nature lovers, international doctors, and a reasonable number of young Missouri academics has turned into a shithole liberal fuckfest of rich Chicago brats, SJWs, a million chinese exchange students, and now entitled blacks pretending to be oppressed and making shit up.
In 8 years they've torn down some of our most beloved local businesses and turned them into fucking upscale student apartments. Our town is literally being fucked over by kids who will only live here for 4 years. Now that the university caved to a bunch of liars because the football team took a day off, I'm looking for a job out east to get away because it is literally breaking my heart to watch my hometown be consumed by this madness.
It's not even the fact they're black. It's the fact that they are clearly well-off and entitled kids-- probably from the rich parts of Chicago-- and are clearly playing their race card to get away with make shit up, ruining lives, and reaping ill rewards by making Columbia and its good people look like something they've never been.
