The amount of responsibility needed to carry a gun every day is equal to the responsibility needed to drive a car every day.
I am not for gun control per se, but i also don't advocate absolute freedom. You should be able to possess as many guns as you want but to carry one you should have to have a license. Same logic as with drivers license. If you are not intelligent, organised and mature enough to get a license you don't have the maturity to be trusted with one. Once you have a license though, there should be no restrictions on where you can carry it.
