I think all of this is made up to get attention, but after a few years of demonizing white people for existing, slowly ramping up to kicking them out of their jobs for simply being white, there's bound to be some back lash. Control of the media narrative is always a matter of counters and parries. SJWs online have learned that as soon as they get called out for their idiocy they can start crying INTERNET DEATH THREATS AGAINST THE OPPRESSED and then that's the way the story turns.
With this MU story, originally the SJWs had the dominant narrative, going on about systemic racism and being able to force out university leadership. Then, once that one reporter was able to publish his video of him being the calm and collected defender of free speech against the raving SJW hordes, the narrative started to swing back. Now we're getting the next attempted counter, the desire to wipe the media slate clean by raising the alarm of the NEXT MASS SHOOTING.
