Just look at the nba. They have this and what happened there is that good players are earning as much as MVP players. It is unfair to the Lebron James and Kevin Durants of the world that are dominating the league for years. They are earning less than fucking Brook Lopez I think. Really competent people should not be limited in what they can earn just so that less competent people can feel hapier for themselves.
