I'm not an atheist, but I'm 100% certain that the Judeo-Christian God does not exist.
God is either not omnipotent or he's not omni-benevolent, and there's a possibility he is neither. That said, there's no reason to pray, because God is either not listening to us at all or he's not listening all the time, hence he's not reliable. Additionally, the Bible is bullshit and not conducive to thought, learning, or any sort of intellectual growth. The only thing you can truly learn while reading the Bible is why not to believe what's in the Bible.
The very concept of God has no basis nor effect on reality, even though I can't disprove His existence. But choosing not to believe requires far less assumptions than choosing TO believe, and I'm not about to defy occam's fucking razor.

Does god exist? is the wrong question. The right one is: Do I want god to exist? It is true that god exists for those who believe in him and that he doesn't exist for the non-believers. god is just a meme, you save him only if you want to. And in the end, it really doesn't make a big difference whether you believe in god(s) or not, you just invent a cause for the effects that have an undiscovered cause. When you discover that cause, you obviously accept it (not like certain religions which have taken the absurd to a whole new level) and give your god another superpower. The concept of God isn't defined and isn't falsifiable. There's also zero evidence for any god or even the possibility. Theological arguments like Aquinas and Kalam are semantic language games that also aren't testable, the whole idea of God rests on infallibility, despite that we perceive the world through fallible means, which means that our ideas are always susceptible to black swans. The history of pretty much every religion recycles earlier religious themes, making the idea of a revelation pretty much ridiculous. The ethics of religion are either really immoral, or center around the golden rule, which doesn't need a god to be enforced nor is ever followed by the religious themselves.
