Not sure if the republicans will do it anyway else, USA needs to get its debt in control it should be the main points of campaigners in the USA, they don't understand the situation they're currently in. They went from 65% debt of total GDP under Bush to 105% under Obama. This is extremely terrible, and once countries go above 100% debt of GDP after the gold standard was removed it's impossible to ever pay back the debt. There will never be an economic boom like that of after the world war 2 (which was why the USA had no problems with a large debt in 1950's they had won the war after all).
