Acceleration is measured by the vestibular system, as little grains of matter touch the receptor (I'll keep this language easy), kind of like how you can feel pressure when you're in an accelerating car. However, since we have always been moving with the same speed of the Earth and the atmosphere, you won't feel this pressure. F = m*dv/dt. v is constant, so F equals zero.
