Keep all emails in an organized manner, it is highly likely that you will need them.

I work the night shift at a large bank, everyone on my team is a woman and the lower level of the company is pretty much run by women. All my co-workers have at least 15 years on me (im early 20s) so I really don't have anything in common with them. I'm in software development and the company I'm in does the hiring by testing all the applicants beforehand by making you write a relatively small program when applying and later on do another test during the interview. To this date, no woman has ever passed the second test, and only 3 in total has reached the actual interview. Granted, the female applicants are only about a fourth in total, but the performance average is much lower than that of the men.
And my boss is by no means a sexist, he's bit on the white knight side but believes hiring should be done on merit alone. There are at least a few people working here without a professional degree, but they've demonstrated they know their shit.

I've seen female foresters contort themselves to get ropes up and pins in and take falls on their padded asses and chests that would have taken a guy out for the day and then just get up. Smart people are capable of working with reality rather than fight it because it's not what they want, and using the body they have in the best way possible to assist a team.
The people who have all day to bitch, either on campus or on blogs, clearly don't have those skills, or they would have jobs and not spend all day bitching...
It's the exact same as gun owners, 99% of gun owners are perfectly sane and reasonable people, but the news only sees the one percent that brings guns to a store that asked people not to open carry (their right as a business) or the cop who shoots someone in the back. You don't see the body cam footage from the 30 or so people cops kill every day for running at them with guns, or killing their girlfriends, or robbing a store with a shotgun... you only notice the most outlandish things, and you only remember the things that line up with your world view and make you confident and happy.
The internet has undoubtedly made the world more partisan and insane, but far more severely it's made us THINK the world is more partisan and insane than it actually is.
