Sudan was literally strongarmed into doing it because the south is resource rich and American and Israeli corporations (along with the Chinese) wanted to circumvent the American trade embargo and get their hands on it. Then suddenly a civil "war" breaks out and private military contractors show up there. FYI 70% of our oil reserves are in the south.
Although I have nothing against American and Israelibros since corporations are trying to fuck them over as well but they have better regulatory legislation to protect their citizens...not to mention lots of guns as well.
