Married couples get certain benefits and tax cuts because they are expected to increase the population. Sexual minorities are incapable of this and therefore should not receive these same benefits.

Sexual minorities can adopt which makes the reproduction argument invalid.

Anyway, I think that from a societal point of view same-sex marriage does not give a net loss.

Same-sex marriage is a by-product, a consequence of the collapse of heterosexual marriage. Getting a divorce is easier than before and ramifications are non-existant. Marriage is weakened further by the moral shift we have had in the west that promotes sexual promiscuity which does not mix well with stable families. This hurts children in many ways. The real debate is why we're not promoting heterosexual marriage.

If you insist, I suppose you could argue that by making a society recognize same-sex marriage you devalue traditional marriage, which is the foundation of a stable society.

Every night before the men of the world go to sleep, we all put our dicks in a bag. When we wake up, we get a new dick everyday. It could be huge, it could be small, it could be curved, it could be straight, cut, or uncut. It would be like Christmas everyday. The wives would enjoy it too. That would be real sexual equality.
